Gazelle Foundation co-founder Gilbert Tuhabonye will speak to more than 200 students on May 17 at the Texas Tech International Cultural Center. The attendees are part of the University’s K-12 Global Education Outreach, a program created to foster cultural awareness and encourage the pursuit of higher education through programs, partnerships and outreach opportunities. Gilbert will share his personal experience of genocide – a topic students of the GEO are learning about – surviving, forgiving, and going on to achieve a successful career as a business owner, coach and philanthropist.
