In January 2017, our board of directors approved eight water projects to be completed by the end of year, which will impact 18,250 people in Burundi. To date, we have completed two projects and currently have three projects under construction. We are excited to share updates from the field on our current projects!

Our 105 local workers on the ground have completed the first collection tank and four tap stands in addition to digging by hand the trenches for the additional pipeline. Our 75 local workers have completed the first collection tank and three tap stands in addition to laying the secondary pipeline. Estimated completion of this project is June 2017.

Continued work with the secondary pipeline will continue along with two additional tap stands. Estimated completion of this project is July 2017.
