Celebrating Laborers

This Labor Day Weekend we're shining a light on the work and contributions of laborers that help build clean water systems in Burundi.

We couldn’t do the work we do without our wonderful supporters here in Austin and the United States. And we give equal credit to our incredibly dedicated partners on the ground in Burundi.

On average, we employ 100-110 local workers to help with the water system construction. The workers are all residents of the community, using their earnings to purchase additional livestock, repair homes, or send their children to school.

Ours is a low-tech, sustainable approach to water system constructions that is simple but effective, both in the short term and the long run.

Learn what construction is happening right now. Thank you for empowering so many futures by helping fund clean water systems in Burundi.
