Walking Towards Forgiveness: 1993 - 2023
To honor the anniversary of Gilbert's second chance at life, Gilbert gathered with friends, the Gazelle Foundation Board and Advisory members to carry water jugs from Lady Bird Lake to the Capitol building.
During the event, Mary Ann Frishman presented Gilbert with a special certificate of congratulations signed by Austin Mayor Kirk Watson. The anniversary walk brings awareness to the water problem in Burundi, its solution, and the profound impact our supporters have in providing clean water to those who need it most.
