A single water system significantly increases the number of people to get clean water each year and helps eradicate water-borne illnesses and diseases in Burundi. Clean water is available to all people regardless of tribe or religion, healing divisions and building common ground.
Clean water gives residents time to grow food, earn an income, spend time with family, and attend school — all of which are foundational to reducing the cycle of poverty. When construction kicks off the life-changing impact begins.
Construction on the Nyazuba water system, our 66th project in Burundi kicked off July 18, 2023. When it's complete supporters like you will have helped provide a lifetime of clean water to this community in Burundi. Learn more about how we helped bring clean water to this community.
