2023 was a milestone year for Gazelle Foundation, Co-Founder Gilbert Tuhabonye, and the Gazelle Foundation. Thirty years ago on October 21, 1993, Gilbert narrowly escaped genocide. He ran for his life from that horror into a new life one marked by resilience, hope, faith, and forgiveness. For everybody who knows him, Gilbert embodies the power of optimism and perseverance. In response to Gilbert’s story and to spread peace, the Gazelle Foundation was created to bring life-saving clean water and hope to people in Burundi.
Since 2006, partnerships with supporters like you have made it possible for us to give permanent access to clean water to more than 125,000 individuals.
