For 30 years, Gilbert has embraced a life of hope, joy, and forgiveness. For everybody who knows him, Gilbert embodies the power of optimism and perseverance. In response to Gilbert’s story, the Gazelle Foundation was created to bring life-saving clean water and hope to people in Burundi.
In remembrance of the tragic events of 1993, and to celebrate the strength in resilience of Gilbert’s 30th anniversary, we're announcing a generous match for all funds raised by our campaign up to $10,000, including monthly donations.

Adam Reiser has served on the board for over two years but has volunteered his time and talents for the Gazelle Foundation for many years prior. What started as a new year’s resolution to do something about the 771 million people globally who lack access to safe drinking water became an annual student art show and sale called Art for Water. Celeste Robbins, Chair of the Fine Arts Department at St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School in Austin reached out to the Gazelle Foundation about organizing a student art show fundraiser and the results are beautiful.
