The Gazelle Foundation is fortunate to once again participate in Austin Marathon Gives, the philanthropic program of the Ascension Seton Austin Marathon presented by UnderArmour that connects race participants to local non-profit organizations. And it’s official, the Moody Foundation match is back for 2023.
For the fifth year in a row, the Gazelle Foundation is eligible for a $10,000 matching gift grant from the Moody Foundation through our participation in the program. The Gazelle Foundation is one of nearly two dozen Official Charity Partners that participate in the program.
Since its inception 8 years ago, the program’s charitable donations have raised over $4,000,000 for Central Texas charities. The Moody Foundation’s lifetime giving to Austin Marathon Gives program is $1.3M and growing, $50,000 of which has directly benefited the Gazelle Foundation.

Our partnership with the Austin Marathon and the Austin Marathon Gives program has a clear and direct impact on our ability to provide clean, accessible water to people in Burundi.
To help us qualify for the grant, volunteers will have an opportunity to give water to thirsty runners at the race, which has in turn allowed us to give clean water to people who need it most in Burundi. Stay tuned for volunteer details.
