Together, We Transformed Lives AT OUR VIRTUAL EVENT FOR THE WATER

Thank you for your support of Come Together For The Water, our first-ever virtual event. We raised $64,325 and counting!  This means that two water projects are fully funded which will keep local project workers employed, and will supply people in Burundi with clean water. Access to clean water is always essential, but now more than ever it is vital for good health. Thanks to supporters like you, life will be a little bit easier for children and families in Burundi.

The basic preventative measures that are keeping families safe and healthy during the pandemic start with access to clean water. Imagine for a moment trying to stave off infection without access to clean water — it’s impossible, and that’s why our friends in Burundi need clean water now more than ever.

As part of the program’s fundraiser, they participate in a simulation to collect and carry water a distance comparable to someone who lives in rural Burundi.
